Terrorism suspect Najibullah Zazi has pleaded guilty in New York City to conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.
The 25-year-old former Denver airport shuttle driver also pleaded guilty to counts of conspiracy to commit murder in a foreign country and providing material support for a terrorist organisation.
He faces a life prison sentence without parole in the plea deal.
He was arrested last autumn after arousing authorities’ suspicions by driving cross-country from Denver to New York around the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
Authorities say he received al Qaida training in Pakistan, bought beauty supplies in Colorado and tried to use them to cook up home made bombs in a Colorado hotel room.

While I have always supported the death penalty, I would be all for life in prison w/o the possibility of parole. The “20th high-jacker” is in a hole in the ground for life with piped in sun light & no certainty as to his 72 virgins. What better punishment than to be put in cold storage.
