Dhimmitude. An update on yesterday’s post regarding the State Dept. sending the imam of the proposed Ground Zero mosque on a Middle Eastern field trip at U.S. taxpayer expense.
“He is a distinguished Muslim cleric,” said State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley. “We do have a program whereby, through our Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau here at the State Department, we send people from Muslim communities here in this country around the world to help people overseas understand our society and the role of religion within our society.”
“It is to foster greater understanding and outreach around the world, among… Muslim- majority communities,” said Crowley. “We’ve done this many, many times, with many leading figures… over the past few years.”
In our society, religion is supposed to play a personal role – so why is the government using tax dollars to promote Islam in America? This is from the same spokesman who blatantly ignored jihad while defending Islam a few weeks ago.

I just can’t believe the US STATE DEPT. didn’t vet this guy thoroughly. It took a few bloggers a few days only to find that this family has significant, troubling ties to the Muslim Brotherhood organization that is still banned in Egypt, I believe. Then there are the numerous indefensible, inflammable statements Rauf has made. Is the Obama administration that naive and incompetent that they won’t follow normal established procedures to get to know a spokesperson or representative sent by the US to foreign countries?
Then Hillary Clinton is apparently the new spokesperson for Islam as she states that Muslims are sorry that the aid workers in Afghanistan were killed by the Taliban. Can’t these people speak for themselves, if that is true?
I saw P.J. Crowley’s interview in explaining his reasons why the State Department is funding this imam, and after every question, just about every word coming out of his mouth was huh…huh….huh! He is the typical State Department’s pin-striped cookie pusher.
Is it likely that the State Department would become involved trying to enlighten the world about Christianity? What about separation between Church and State? To put this in the proper perspective, Islam must be called the cult that it is and drop the pretense that it is a religion. I have you on RSS. This is a great site, I cross link to you frequently. The people in control in our government speak for the Muslims in the USA. The people in control in muslim countries speak for the Muslims there. Why the big difference? Are there two Korans one peace loving and one deadly. Which of the two havn’t learned the truth of what the Koran really says? To me it’s a religion of peace after the opposition is killed off.

If U research one will find the following; countries with a significant population percentage of at least 20% of Islamic religion, will find turmoil and violence. It only gets worse from there, and history shows many ruined nations. It only becomes peaceful when all are subjugated/conquered.
