I went to the Muslim Day Parade today.
Looks like the annual Muslim Day Parade in New York City got a make over.
There were, of course, the usual features. The prayer on Madison Avenue. Though much smaller, shorter and less ceremonial than in previous parades.

In this video the marchers are shouting, “We are the Muslims! The mighty, mighty Muslims!” Hardly a humble or inclusive attitude.
In this video they insist, “From East to West, Islam is the best!”

Gone were the black flags of jihads waving as in previous parades replaced by pre-printed signs and the veneer of toting American flags.
Also conspicuously absent where the elected NYC officials who have marched before like Anthony Weiner [D] and Robert Jackson [D].

The first under-age geek suicide-bomber: no loss to mankind!
If you go to urban infidel and watch the video of the girls singing it is beyond creepy. It is a bit like a horror movie lead in where a kid is singing and this cues the screetching violin music accompanied by murder and mayhem. As an aside- Islam does not allow instrumental music so all singing by radical Muslims is vocal accompanied by drums.
Let’s see if they can keep up with Tommy Lee.
Wow, can we now have a Christian parade promoting Jesus?
I was thinking the same thing. What other religious group parades their creed? None. It’s obvious from this proud display that Islam is not a religion. It boasts of POWER. It’s a political ideology, obviously.
Why doesn’t everyone see this?
I have seen a “Jesus parade” but it was more of a kids Sunday school thing. The Muslim day parade was definately a “show our muscle” sort of event.

Those troughs on Madison Avenue look for all the world like where you place slop for swine. And why not?
I think we need to send people to place hog lard on all of the places where the barbarians like to congregate and wash their nostrils. OH, by the way, how do they get their feet in those pig troughs? Do they stand in them. Sit in them? Wash out their noses in them?
The most serious question about this, of course, is by what Constitutional authority does the City of New York allow the streets to be closed and trashed for a religion? If they can do it for Islam, they can do it for Christians. Or, like Dearborn police, would they arrest Christians trying to hold a mighty, mighty, Christian day? Onward Christian Soldiers!
Left up to Obama it would be Muslim 365 day. Add one on the Leap Years.

disgusting! I think every religion should request a day they can have a parade and when NY denies them the state should be sued.
if gays can have a parade and the fucking muslims can have a parade, then I think Christians should be allowed to have a parade as well!
We (Christians) can’t have a parade. We’re not supposed to boast and brag. We’re even supposed to pray in private, not make a big production of it as the Muslims do. Humility is expected of us, as Jesus was humble.
You would think so, but as I said on the BNI board in a similar thread, Bloomberg’s reasoning for denying the permit would probably stand up in court or would at least force a trial…which is that no new street festival permits are being issued for anyone who hasn’t held them in prior years.
A permit though could be applied for in a public park such as Central Park or Flushing Meadows-Corona. Just not on a street.

It’s nice they can find solutions for the ritual bathing needs of Muslims, but NY’ers have to walk by stench-filled streets because their isn’t adequate public bathrooms…
Actually, if you want to blame someone, blame Ed Koch; this has been held annually since 1985, but I don’t know if it was held in 2001. Maybe someone else will know what I should know.
As for NYPD praying on the job, I don’t believe they should be praying (especially if not on duty), but brass is probably letting them slide. To me, if they appear, they should be out of uniform here.
I’ve had a chance to think about this change in muzlim behavior and have decide there are a number of reasons for it. CAIR has backed the victory mosque and may be instructing people to be on their best behavior so they can sway the public to their side.
AND, I just read an article that stated muzlim intentions.
