A Nebraska prison inmate is suing Lancaster county for a quarter of a million dollars. The devout Muslim alleges he was served pork while in custody – violating the rules of his religion.
Court records said that 48–year–old Dario Scott follows dietary restrictions that bar Muslims from eating pork and that in March while awaiting trial, he was assured that pork was not served in the Lancaster County jail.
But he was later told that pork was an ingredient in some of the jail food.
Scott says in his lawsuit that he was sickened by the pork and that his rights to practice his religion were violated.
Scott is serving three–to–five years in prison for cocaine distribution.

How do all of the non Muslims think they know more about the religion than the true Muslims?
It has nothing to do with “think” – We know and we know because we are observant and educate ourselves with literature as well as when a “honor killing” is committed too close to home and on and on it goes. A body can be deaf and blind, but still “In the Know.”
Why does most of the world think they know more about America, our intentions, and what’s good for America, than Americans?

As I see it, his case should be thrown out very quickly. Any freedoms granted to free people were never intended to be granted to those on the inside.
In other words, any freedoms end once the prison door closes.

Prisoners demanding rights! Is there any wonder why we are the laughing stock of the world? Simple solutions are usually the best! Strip all felons of their constitution rights while incarcerated, especially the first amendment, and then restore some of those rights when the get out of prison. Problem solved!

Constitutional rights are actually the MOST important when they are granted to incarcerated persons. That is where the entire logic for the process of appeal is derived from. Imagine being locked up and having no right to free speech. The judicial process would be irrelevant. When people make comments such as the it is actually quite obvious why we are the laughing stock of the world.

The Qur’an commands Muslims to stick up for themselves in a Defensive battle (never the word offensive)– i.e. if an enemy army attacks, then Muslims are to fight against that army until they stop their aggression. All of the verses that speak about fighting/war in the Qur’an are in this context.
There are some specific verses that are very often “snipped” out of context, either by critics of Islam discussing “jihadism,” or by misguided Muslims themselves who wish to justify their aggressive tactics.
I’ve read the Qur’an, the bible (both versions), and the dead sea scrolls. I suggest you read your Qur’an for it clearly calls for the killing of non-muslims. Please don’t make me point out the verse which is obvious to anyone who picks it up.
