Remember it was Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups that forced TSA to exempt Muslims from body scanning to begin with. (CNSNews.com) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has issued a travel warning to Muslim airline passengers on U.S. aircraft in response to the Transportation Safety Administration’s “enhanced pat down” policy that went into effect in late October.
CAIR said Muslims who object to full-body scans for religious reasons should know their rights if they are required to undergo a pat-down, including asking for the procedure to be done in a private place. In addition, CAIR offered a “special recommendation” for Muslim women who wear a hijab, telling them they should tell the TSA officer that they may be searched only around the head and neck.
In the “special recommendations for Muslim women who wear hijab,” it states: “Before you are patted down, you should remind the TSA officer that they are only supposed to pat down the area in question, in this scenario, your head and neck. They SHOULD NOT subject you to a full-body or partial-body pat-down.”
It also states: “Instead of the pat-down, you can always request to pat down your own scarf, including head and neck area, and have the officers perform a chemical swipe of your hands.”
The new TSA pat-downs involving “head-to-toe” screening techniques follow recent airliner bombing attempts. Passengers who reject a full-body scan or who are selected for secondary screening may be searched using the enhanced pat-down.
“Pat downs are one important tool to help TSA detect hidden and dangerous items such as explosives,” a TSA statement issued on Oct. 28 stated. “Passengers should continue to expect an unpredictable mix of security layers that include explosives trace detection, advanced imaging technology, canine teams, among others.”
Posted on its Web site under “TSA’s Head-to-Toe Screening Policies,” the agency said how people are dressed may lead to closer inspection, including baggy or loose clothing. Those policies also include individuals being searched by a “professional” of the same sex.
“It is TSA’s policy that passengers should be screened by an officer of the same gender in a professional, respectful manner,” the policy reads.
A gender-based policy, fully aligned with sharia law.

So I’m a Muslim lady ready to stroll through security. I’ve been trained by CAIR on how to resist & minimize my security screening. I tell the guard that I’ll pat down my own hijab, thank you very much, then they can swab my exposed hands but nothing else. No body or even partial body search.
Wouldn’t all of this constitute unusual behavior that would merit secondary screening?
I’m pretty sure that if I were wearing a Panama hat with mosquito netting that I refused to doff to go through security that I’d end up in an airport holding cell.
If you have been trained to minimize and resist the searches, then I’m sure that’s a trigger for American domestic intelligence agencies to infiltrate and understand the measures.
And then, once the motive for them is understood, regulations will follow.
No-fly list?
Far as I am concerned all Muslim women wearing headscarves, hihabs, burkas, etc. should be summitted to search of all body cavities, too.

CAIR needs to be told to go pound sand, again. The phony civil rights group should have its own words used agianst it, over and over again. If CAIR was a genuine civil rights group, the people involved with it would understand the absurdity of demanding Muslims be given special treatment, and calling it “civil rights”
Last line first: Wasn’t that policy developed because non-Muslim women feared being molested by men (which is a genuine concern)? Now, concentrating on the rest of it – they should be patted down fully by women…there could be something hidden by a hijab…and while it can be done away from the public view, as I see it, either the hijab must be patted down and “swept with a wand”, or the hijab must come off during the inspection.
They don’t have to fly – they can always go Greyhound! As for the exemption on Muslims for body scanning, it should be ended and if they sue again, let the courts put them in their place.

And if they are unwilling to go through TSA like the rest of us, then they should be put on the no-fly lists.
This is the height of absurdity……..Muslims are the reason we have to go through this airport inconvenience in the first place. Now we have come to a point where the people who may blow up a plane are not searched as thoroughly as the people being targeted. Isn’t it a great country? (sarcasm)

Put every Muslim who refuses to be checked just like every other American on the no fly list beginning the day they refuse to be checked. Muslims are the reason why flying anywhere
has turned into an exercise in masachism. Put every member of CAIR on it too.
The government would have done that if not for a case out of the 9th Circuit…Ibrahim v. Homeland Security, which involves precisely that issue.
Just install full body MRI machines at the entrances of all airports, monitored by TSA personnel, which can turn if off & on manually – so, that when anyone who evern LOOKS Middle Eastern approaches the door, ON goes the full body scan machine – et voila! If you don’t want that sort of attention, stay home or go by greyhound bus!! In Israeli airports they have security personnel asking questions not only at every entrance but at various points throughout the airport. We’re being played by fools by both the TSA and CAIR!!
Okay, then let us all ask for the pat downs to be done in a private place. Shouldn’t the infidels invoke the same alleged rights as the musslimms.
They are the very ones who need the full body scan and the pat down and whatever else, NOT granny going to visit the grand kids. How insane is America getting? How much are the regular people going to put up with?
i can’t believe it’s true.did anyone check it out? all i see up there are recommendations and warnings from CAIR. all i heard regarding the TSA is that they WILL be doing these searches. not that anyone is exempt. WHERE are you people getting that muslim ladies are an exception? no way will i believe that. and if it IS true in any way? someone has lost their mind and needs to be replaced in that job asap. INCREDIBLY STUPID that.@@
