Over a year ago I heard that Grover Norquist (sort of the “brains” or operator behind CPAC) is married to a Muslim and is very sympathetic to this so-called (but totally misnamed) “moderate Muslim” group – and was probably responsible for getting Khan on CPAC’s Board in the first place!
Last year, Pam Geller & Robert Spencer and their SIOA group held a small panel discussion at CPAC – but in a small meeting room and NOT on the official CPAC agenda (about which Geller reported and elaborated in her blog, Atlas Shrugs). Theirs was a VERY spirited rally AGAINST the GZ Mosque and featured many outstanding anti-Islamic speakers.
IMO, as long as Norquist is running that show (CPAC), I think the Tea Party Movement should point out this weakness – and this business as usual attitude – if for no other reason than these muzzie sympathizers are also, at heart, anti-Israel!
