More insanity, via Judge censures cartoonist over court outburst against ‘terrorist attacker’ | The Australian.
A Danish judge has had to call the cartoonist Kurt Westergaard to order after an outburst against the man who is accused of trying to kill him.
“He’s just a cowardly liar, a terrorist!” exclaimed the 75-year-old, who has drawn the wrath of the Muslim world for his caricature of the Prophet Mohammed wearing a turban that resembled a bomb.
The accused man, a care worker of Somali origin, broke into the cartoonist’s home a year ago, wielding an axe. On Wednesday, at the outset of the trial, Mohammed Geele, 29, said that he had used the axe to enter the house and that his aim was to frighten Mr Westergaard and express his anger about the cartoon.
Mr Westergaard rejected his version. “He was like a religious insane young man,” he told the court in Aarhus yesterday. “I believe he entered the house as a holy warrior who wanted to kill an infidel.” He turned to look at his assailant – the first time that they had actually seen each other.
The judge reprimanded Mr Westergaard for prejudging him by calling Mr Geele a terrorist. The prosecution has so far failed to establish a clear terrorist motive.
Worldwide jihad over Westergaard’s cartoon aside, can there be any doubt the axe-wielding, Allah-chanting Muslim tried to terrorize Westergaard? He admitted it! The dhimmitude.

Typical liberal misguided Judge, my question to the Judge, may Mr. Westergaard call Geele a Terrorist after the axe is removed from Mr Westergaards head????
He SHOULD be punished for speaking out against Islam, according to the judge. Imagine calling a murderer a terrorist. He should be reprimanded.
Like dinner jacket says, “I like you, I kill you last!”
So the judge buys Islam points.
He should have drawn a Mo Ham head in front of the murder and asked the murderer to enjoy it.
That would have forced the court to deal with it.

Is there no protection of freedom of speech and freedom to life in your own home without fear of being assaulted with an ax? This judge needs to be forced out.
I’m ignorant of the law in Denmark regarding firearms; would a shotgun, rifle, or handgun have been allowed in his home for protection, and what would the repercussions have been had he used one? Personally, a stranger in my house, uninvited, with an axe? Meat for the dogs. (Pennsylvania, USA)
Since lying by muslims is both an art and religious duty, how can anyone, except one afraid for his life, believe what a muslim says?

Really now. Dude said he had intended to frighten Westergaard with the ax he had used to bust his way into the place. That is terrorism at its basest definition. So when Westergaard called him a terrorist he was basically giving him an out; either he was there intent to kill or maim with the ax, which would be attempting to cause grave bodily injury OR he was there to instill terror into Westergaard. So pick one, terrorist or attempted murderer.

As a Vietnamese Roman Catholic, I support Islam, Kurt Westergaard you don’t deserve to exist for what you did, I respect Allah, Muhammad, the Qu’ran, and the Muslims. Muslims do the right thing and protect your prophet, Kurt Westergaard is a stupid cartoonist that should burn in hell! I have always loved Islam throughout my life, I may be a Christian but I will become a Muslim someday! I am a Christian but I help Muslims rather than Americans or Christians who believes this stupid cartoonist is innocent!
