A radical Muslim preacher has been ordered by German authorities to depart the country immediately. The move comes after he attended an Islamist rally in Frankfurt that took place despite the objections of city leaders.
Citing security concerns, the authorities said if he doesn’t depart on his own, he could be arrested and forcibly deported.
Philips, who was born in Jamaica and raised in Canada, spoke in Frankfurt earlier this week on the subject “Islam, the Misunderstood Religion” alongside German Islamist preacher Pierre Vogel – who authorities have no way to deport – after a court allowed the event over the objections of Frankfurt officials.
Arid Uka, the 21-year-old Kosovar who has admitted to killing two US airmen in Frankfurt in March, is thought to have established contact to radical Islamist preachers including Vogel before the shooting.
He is alleged to have preached that homosexuals should received the death penalty, although in Frankfurt he said he doesn’t hate gays at all.

MONTREAL — A controversial Muslim cleric who once led Montreal protests against the cartoon drawings of Muhammad wants to return to Canada after being deported three years ago.
Said Jaziri is currently being held in a California detention centre for trying to sneak into the country from Mexico in the trunk of a car.
Jaziri was a high-profile preacher at a Montreal mosque and has been accused of expressing extreme views before he was deported to Tunisia in 2007 over immigration concerns.
Canadian authorities say Jaziri presented false information to get into Canada in 1997, and lied about having a criminal record in France, where he served jail time.
But his lawyer, civil liberties advocate Julius Grey, says Jaziri has “never committed a serious offence.”
While in Montreal, Jaziri received widespread media attention as the province grappled with religious accommodation, leading protests over the publication of Prophet Muhammad cartoons in a Danish newspaper.
He called on the government to fund a $20-million mosque in Montreal.
He also advocated for Canada to allow a special court based on Sharia law, a Muslim code of faith followed by most believers.

How the main stream media here or in Canada fails to equate this with the fascism of Nazi Germany, or all the fascism that swept Europe in the 1930s is frightening.
How can you miss the treatment of Jews, gays, and women under a doctrine that strips them of their rights to gain “order” and a “perfect society?”
Tolerating this is not any more an act of tolerance than was the “tolerance” of Nazism and similar fascism by the rest of the world until a world war was the only thing that could stop it.
