Chris Holton, vice president at the Center for Security Policy and editor of Shariah Finance Watch, recently briefed staff members from ten Congressional offices on sharia-compliant finance. During a question and answer period, staffers showed particular interest in the lack of disclosure and transparency requirements on Islamic finance.

First step to Sharia Law! Big banks have been involved for years opening up American business to control by Sharia interest because of the demands placed on buusiness that get involved with Sharia financial transactions.
Would it not be better for Congress to simply demand that No Sharia requirements be placed on any registered business. Its certainly more complicated than this, but you’ve gotnthe idea.
