DISH Network Supports Islamists in U.S.

via DISH Network, Turkish Airlines Support Islamist Conference in U.S.

The annual convention of the Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) brings together Islamists from around the U.S. and outside the country. This year’s event, held on December 21-25, had at least a dozen Islamist speakers with links to the Muslim Brotherhood and histories of extremist rhetoric. (See our previous article about the here.)

One speaker who was booked for the event, Saudi Sheikh Ayed Al-Qarni, is so radical that the U.S. government refused to let him enter the country to attend the conference.

Advocating for his entry into the U.S. was CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (whose executive-director spoke at the event), who demanded that the U.S. allow him in.

MAS was founded by the Muslim Brotherhood and ICNA is listed in a 1991 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood memo as one of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.”

Renting venues and equipment, covering travel expenses, purchasing advertising and all the other costs that come with these huge events (MAS-ICNA expected nearly 10,000 people) are not cheap. That’s where sponsors come in. Helping with this year’s event was the DISH Network and Turkish Airlines. Their logos are seen at the bottom of the convention home page and were printed on the bags given to attendees.

DISH aligns with known terror linked groups:

DISH

It’s unclear why the DISH Network would sponsor an event like this. You can click here to email them and ask them. Press them to commit to ending their financial support for future MAS-ICNA events.

  1. You sure have the right name for your web site. Islam reminds me of Poison Ivy. You get a little spot of it on your skin, it starts to spread and itch. If you do nothing, it will spread slowly, but if you scratch the itch, it will spread rapidly. Well, that’s the way Islam spreads. The only way to stop poison ivy, is to use Calamine lotion, to kill it. We have to stop the spread of Sharia Law, or any part of Sharia Law being practiced in this Country. Any one who emigrates to this Country, lives in this Country, is an American Citizen, who wants to live under Sharia Law, and not U.S. Law should turn in their Citizenship, an move to a Muslim Country that has Sharia Law. Now is there any one out there that think I am wrong, I would like to hear from you. The same for any one who agree’s with me.

    • Very good analogy!
They remind me of roaches. They infest an area then move on to the next country to destroy it.

      • No! Locusts….They are like locusts. They migrate to a country… devour it…then move on to the next country without adding any societal improvements along the way.

  2. Now that the traitor Al Gore has sold his cable and satellite license to to AlJazeera it is a islamic wedge into Americas hypnotized sheeple.
I have dropped all pay services and watch off air and FTA satellites.
For under $200. you can have your own satellite reciever and never a bill afterwards.

  3. Dish Networks, stopped their sponsorship after pressure from floridafamily.org. These muslim idiots made up a icon to look like DISH Networks.

    ——From http://floridafamily.org/
Look at the two icons and see, I cannot find article talking about this event but it’s out there.

    • Reallly…assholes! Delete this if you must!

    • I did and its the DISH network logo.

      • You compared Dish Network to the Banner on floridafamily.org to this one banner on the creepingsharia page and state that they are the same? Weird, becoase this one on this site is redddish and no mention of network on icon. I believe that ICNA put this fake Icon on new banner to to punish Dish Networks for pulling out by falsifying support as being done now.

      • This is getting too confusing. I made my initial statement because I receive emails updates from FFA asI appreciate their efforts on many grounds. In one email as described here in the link and related story:

        –snippet
Florida Family Association first reported Dish Network’s sponsorship of the convention in a December 10, 2012 email alert. A second email alert was sent out on December 12, 2012 which reported that it appeared that the convention web site had changed the logo in response to the email campaign. This was not the case.

        ————-
Yet I do see as describe in the email from FFA that this Icon is changed. I give up. Dish Network should have never promoted these clowns in the first place.

  4. This can be stopped without a lot of effort.
Remember when “All American Muslim” was going to be shown on Cable (TLC)…we wrote to all of the advertisers and told them we would NEVER buy their product again.

IF Dish customers would do the same….they’d stop that crap in a NY Second! change over to Cable, Verizon, Direct TV, Comcast, etc.

This IS an easy fix. Takes two minutes for a phone call; and how much is a stamp?

  5. Ever notice they hold events on OUR traditional holidays…this one on CHRISTmas and one in CT on Labor day, is it?

  6. The link to send email to DirecTV in the article is broke.
