Update – someone met with Hamas…Kerry Turns Over Hamas Letter to U.S. Consulate
Did Ellison meet with Hamas as well? CNN says he did not. But, how do you organize the first visit to Gaza by any U.S. official in three years and legislators in eight years, to enter the Hamas-controlled Palestinian Territories without meeting or getting approval from the controlling authority – Hamas?
Gaza – Two Members of Congress, Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota) and Brian Baird (D-Washington) visited Gaza on Thursday to view first-hand the destruction from recent Israeli air and ground attacks, and to meet with international and local relief agencies.
Ellison’s staff fails to mention why Israel attacked the designated terrorist group Hamas.
The visit, which did not have the official sanction of the Obama Administration, is the first time anyone from the United States government has entered into Gaza in more than three years.
Prior to entering Gaza, the Congressmen met with the chief negotiator of the Palestinian Authority, and traveled to the West Bank city of Ramallah to meet with Dr. Riad Malki, Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority.
The chief negotiator of the Palestinian Authority, Ahmed Qurei, recently headed a Fatah delegation to Cairo to discuss the creation of a unity government with none other than Hamas, led by Musa Abu Marzouk, the deputy head of the Hamas “political bureau.” Abu Marzouk, you may recall, was the author of a Hamas “manifesto” reprinted in Barack Obama’s infamous church bulletin.
Back in Ellison’s home state of Minnesota, Hamas and Fatah members didn’t treat Ellison so nicely. Watch this video and see them chase Ellison off the podium at a “peace” rally last month. Last weekend, Presidents Day weekend, Ellison was at the College of Sharia in Qatar, before that on a Muslim Brotherhood-paid trip to Mecca for the Islamic hajj, prior to that urging Muslims to take jobs in the new Obama administration and attending CAIR fundraisers.
How much of Democrat, and first Muslim elected to U.S. Congress, Keith Ellison’s time is spent on issues that only benefit a small portion of his constituents or none at all?

Kerry…became the most senior U.S. government official to enter Gaza since 2000. The Massachusetts lawmaker announced his trip did not signal any change in U.S. policy toward Hamas, while Fox News reported he accepted a letter from the group to deliver to President Obama.
“Kerry can say there is no change, but Hamas controls Gaza. It’s very important that he came here. I hope next time the U.S. can more openly support Hamas,” al-Massri said.
Hamas’ official charter calls for the murder of Jews and the destruction of Israel.
