As we noted back in April, the only certain result from the Boston jihad bombings would be more loss of freedom for Americans. It’s happening quickly and the sheeple keep grazing on iPhones, Facebook and Obama Stamps.
Authorities are carefully reviewing security measures for the July Fourth celebration in light of the deadly Boston Marathon bombings and disclosure that the suspects may initially have planned to target the Independence Day celebration.
The Boston Pops concert and fireworks display, summer highlights that draw an estimated 500,000 people, are among the host of upcoming public events, from college graduations to charity walks, that are prompting heightened security following the bombings.
State and local police officials would not say what specific measures might be put in place for July 4, but security specialists said they would probably include an increased police presence along the Charles River Esplanade, broader searches of bags and belongings, and tighter restrictions on movement during the event.
They are also studying security plans at other large public events, such as the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square, to learn further ways to minimize threats.
“The public should be assured that security measures include those that they see and others that they won’t see,” said David Procopio.
“We do not want people to live in fear,” Procopio said. “All we ask is that they continue to be alert to anyone or anything that doesn’t look right and call 911 immediately if they do see something.”
Too late. Unfortunately for Procopio and other government officials who impose their will on innocent people, Americans fear government more than terror. More unfortunate for America, far too many are willing to give up a lot of freedom for a little false security.
“We’re going to do everything we can, everything humanly possible, to make it as safe as possible, and we have done so ever since security was first heightened after 9/11,” [Gov] Patrick told reporters at Northeastern University’s graduation ceremonies.
Blatant lies. Almost none of the 9/11 recommendations have been implemented. Whatever they did since 9/11 didn’t prevent the Boston bomber’s. They were given asylum after 9/11. Thanks to immigration – legal and illegal – the Muslim population has doubled in the U.S. since 9/11 as have the number of mosques. None of that made us safer. Using Islamic terrorism to erode our liberties is bipartisan.
The latest Islamic terror attack is being used to escalate the militarization of civil law enforcement, Head Of Pentagon IED Office Sees Boston Bombs As Part Of A Pattern
For many Americans, the twin explosions at the Boston Marathon finish line on April 15 were a huge shock. For Lieutenant General Michael D. Barbero, the Army officer who heads the Pentagon’s lead organization for defeating improvised explosive devices (IED’s), they are part of a pattern.
A pattern that will further erode your freedom:
General Barbero says that working with other agencies, across the joint force and the broader federal government, is essential to successfully countering IED’s. Without a “whole of government” approach, too many facets of the challenge get neglected. For instance, Barbero’s organization has proven adept at rapidly fielding technology that can impede the detonation of explosive devices, but somebody else has to disrupt the flow of IED precursors and collect the financial intelligence needed to cut off terrorist funds. Without everyone working together, he says, the IED challenge could quickly get out of control.
In that regard, he firmly believes that the traditional distinction between overseas wars and homeland security has become an impediment to dealing with events like the Boston bombings. Treating the two areas separately creates seams in U.S. defenses that terrorists can exploit, with tragic consequences. So Barbero believes that legal barriers barring cooperation between domestic law enforcement agencies and national-security agencies need to be rethought in light of the emerging threat.
How about barring refugees from jihadist war zones?
The generals sounds eerily similar to nanny Bloomberg who stated, “our laws and our interpretation of the Constitution, I think, have to change.” For our security of course.

“The greatest mystery in life is the human mind. We don’t know what other people do until it becomes known. Our job is to figure it out, but we need indicators to know something’s not right,” says Sgt. Ed Mullins of the New York Police Department, who is also president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, the city’s second-largest police union.
Using a zero tolerance approach to track domestic terrorists online is the only reasonable way to analyze online threats these days, especially after the Boston Marathon bombing and news that the suspects had subsequently planned to target Times Square in Manhattan, Mullins says. The way law enforcement agencies approach online activity that appears sinister is this: “If you’re not a terrorist, if you’re not a threat, prove it,” [he says?].
“This is the price you pay to live in free society right now. It’s just the way it is,” Mullins adds.

Down in Florida, taxpayers are funding their own demise as well. Secretive Sheriff Ric Bradshaw: Report Your Neighbor to Police If He Says He Hates the Government:
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw’s counter-terror tattletale program C-PAT (Community Partners Against Terrorism) first drew widespread attention in late April, with news of a $1 million grant of state money for “Prevention Intervention” units to act preemptively on tips gathered from the program.
C-PAT’s soft opening was in mid-April, courtesy of YouTube, with a video that begins with a prelude about the 2010 Times Square car bombing attempt, in which a Senegalese street merchant tipped off police about a smoking vehicle.
Bradshaw jumped the shark when he told the paper “We want people to call us if the guy down the street says he hates the government, hates the mayor and he’s gonna shoot him. What does it hurt to have somebody knock on a door and ask, ‘Hey, is everything OK?’ “
It’s worth repeating:
