Colorado: Public School Forcing Girls to Wear Headscarves, “Ankles Must Be Covered” on Class Trip to Denver Mosque

via Denver: Schoolgirls Forced to Wear Headcarves, “Ankles Must Be Covered” on School Trip to Denver Mosque | Pamela Geller, Atlas Shrugs.

Sharia in the classroom.

School girls at a Douglas County public school in Colorado are being forced to cover up from head-to-toe to visit a mosque on a school mandated Common Core trip. There are no requirements to visit a Greek Orthodox cathedral or synagogue.

Here again we see that anywhere American law and Islamic law conflict, it is American law that has to give way.

The subjugation and oppression of women are enshrined under the sharia. Young school girls should not be forced to “respect” a dress code that represents honor violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, child marriage, et al.

I  appeared on the Peter Boyles Show this morning and we discussed the concern of parents who had contacted him asking for help in opposing this sharia in the classroom. Here is a copy of the instructions parents were given:

The world religions field trip is next Tuesday, January 13. We will be visiting the Denver Mosque, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Rodef- Shalom Synagogue. We will then eat lunch at Park Meadows Food Court. Students must either bring a sack lunch or money to
purchase lunch at the food court.
THERE IS A DRESS CODE FOR THIS TRIP: All students must wear appropriate long pants. Ankles must be covered. Girls must bring wide scarves or hooded sweatshirts for the mosque.

You can contact the Douglas County school board hereBe polite.

The islamization of our public schools is well-documented in my book Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance.

An outraged parent contacted local media outlets to report the forced dress requirement, all of whom allegedly refused to cover the story except for one right-wing radio broadcaster out of Denver, Peter Boyles of KNUS 710. Boyles reached out to Principal Mike Loitz at Rocky Heights Middle School — the school imposing the dress requirements on female students — and Loitz confirmed in the interview on January 6 that they did ask students to comply.

  1. aren’t there better places to take a class trip besides a damned mosque where terrorism is preached and hate even for those on the class trip; what a pile of bull shit; I thought CO was smarter than that and those who agreed on this should be fired and replaced with non-muslim people who don’t feel the need to be politically correct.

read the muslim brotherhood project and you have been definitely sucked in

  2. Why are Christians and Jews required to show respect and honor to Muslims while they REFUSE to respect andhonor our religions and beliefs? ?

  3. Je suis Charlie. Stop playing their game on their field. Islam is a cancer on the world. You cannot own a Holy Bible in Saudi Arabia, the home of Islam. There is NO tolerance in Islam.

  4. I’m surprised that they’re even allowing infidels into a mosque. Children should not be forced to enter a religious facility, especially one of a religion that preaches the forced conversion or death of those children.

  5. They are visiting a Cathedral, Synagogue, and Mosque. This is a great learning experience. Give the children the skills and knowledge so they can make their own educated decisions. The Mosque happens to have specific rules, if they were visiting an aircraft factory, closed toed shoes and wearing safety glasses would be required.

  6. As a Christian parent I do not see anything wrong with this. They are making a trip to various places, they should respect the culture of those places. If this bothers parents, then don’t let your child go. If it doesn’t and you value the educational experience this can provide, then follow the laws of that culture. Just because some view Muslims as not respectful, does not excuse disrespectful behavior from us or excuse us from teaching respect to our kids. Muslims, as a whole, are no more or less disrespectful as we are. There are plenty of disrespectful Americans and Christians, but not all Americans or Christians are disrespectful. The same is 100% true for the Muslim culture. Besides two wrongs do not make a right.

  7. The level of cultural and historical ignorance among Americans makes me squirm. When my family traveled to Latin American in the early 1960’s, a time when the Roman Catholic Church required women to cover their heads while in church, my mother, sister and I always put on a hat or mantilla before entering some of the region’s many beautiful Baroque churches. If we had forgotten to bring either, there were little old ladies guarding the doors who would give us a Kleenex to cover our heads. We did not do this because we were agreeing with or adopting Catholic Dogma. We did it because it demonstrated courtesy and respect for that Dogma. We weren’t forced to do it – it was our choice to go inside these Churches.

When we entered a Synagogue, my brother put on a hat for the same reason.

When I visited famous Mosques in Egypt, I always put took off my shoes and put on a headscarf before entering, not because I was being forced to live under Sharia Law, but to show courtesy and respect for the rules of the people worshipping there.

If you visit the shrine of a different religion, you are obliged to show respect for that religion by following their rules and etiquette. If you object to those rules, don’t visit the shrine. If you go there anyway, don’t bitch about their rules.

    • The level of self-righteousness in your comment makes us want to vomit.

They weren’t in another country, they weren’t on vacation, they weren’t going voluntarily: THEY ARE SCHOOL CHILDREN BEING FORCED TO GO TO A MOSQUE AND SUBMIT TO SHARIA LAW!!!!

      Wake the fuck up.

      • No they are not being forced to do anything. I question if you are from Colorado or not, being that I am, I happen to know that all field trips in Colorado schools are optional or voluntary, as you put it. Should a child not wish to go or their parents not wish to allow them, they do have other options to obtain credit.

Being notified that there are dress requirements prior is not forcing anything. If it were one of the other places requiring a dress code, they would have to enforce that as well.

Again it is the students choice. If they do not want to comply or the parents do not agree, then they have to be given the choice to stay back and do other work for the credit.

They are not being forced into anything, the district is enforcing a dress code that anyone would have to comply with should they go to visit those places, just because the other two do not have a dress code, doesn’t make this a horrible thing.

It’s respect for the culture and religion, it is not forcing a way them into another belief system, it is just expecting them to respect another’s belief system.?

If sharia keeps spreading, you will not only be silenced by the media and big technology, you will be jailed - or worse. Speak while you can!
