Boston (Not-So-Strong) Police Commish: “We’re All Muslims Deep Down”

Recall the Boston Bombers Statement To Victims: ‘I’m A Muslim, My Religion Is Islam’ ‘Praise Be To Allah. Apparently Boston Police Commissioner William B. Evans forgot.

Local antiwar military veterans gathered outside New England’s largest mosque Saturday to show support for Muslims amid growing anti-Muslim sentiments that some believe have been stoked by the inflammatory tone of the presidential race.

The rally at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center in Roxbury was organized by the Smedley D. Butler Brigade of Veterans for Peace and drew about 200 people.

Speakers included leaders from veterans’ groups and Islamic organizations as well as Boston Police Commissioner William B. Evans, who was last to address the crowd.

“We’re all Muslims deep down,” Evans said. “We all yearn for peace.”

Evans also visited the mosque in December after a Muslim couple carried out a mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif. He said Saturday that Boston police treasure their relationship with the Muslim community.

Hugh Fitzgerald at Jihad Watch begs to differ: via Boston Police Commissioner William Evans: “We’re All Muslims Deep Down”

…what is Commissioner Evans — to make of all those Muslims who in the past 1350 years have made war on non-Muslims from the Atlantic to the East Indies, spreading Islam by conquering so many different lands, subjugating so many different kinds of Disbelievers, and making life so difficult for them that many, in order not to pay the crushing jizyah or endure other disabilities endured by dhimmis, converted to Islam? What are we to make, today, of the host of Muslim groups — the Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban, the votaries of the Islamic State, first in Syria and Iraq, and now in Libya and Nigeria, and those less well-known — and of all the fire-breathing imams who from millions of pulpits denounce Disbelievers and remind Believers of their duty to be “harsh and angry” with them and make war on them, and adduce Qur’anic quotes that support that duty? Anything? Nothing?

Before speaking out and telling that crowd with such conviction that “we are all Muslims” because “we all want peace” (apparently being Christian would not have been sufficient), shouldn’t Police Commissioner Evans have read the Qur’an, and noted the 109 verses that mention making war on Infidels? Is it possible he relied on a Muslim colleague or friend who offered a simple deeply sincere assurance that “Islam means peace” and “anyone who says otherwise, is a troublemaker.” And besides, don’t we keep being told that Islam mean “peace”?

On the off-chance that Commissioner Evans overlooked a few verses from the Qur’an, and a few stories from the Hadith, the reading of which just might have caused him to temper his remark that “we Muslims all strive for peace” I’ve made a little florilegium below of relevant verses, with brief commentary, both shamelessly lifted from The Religion of Peace website (, for his easy reading. Perhaps, upon completing the task – it shouldn’t take more than five minutes — Commissioner Evans will want to revise his remark that “we’re all Muslims deep down. We all yearn for peace.”

Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing…
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)” (Translation is from the Noble Quran) The verse prior to this (190) refers to “fighting for the cause of Allah those who fight you” leading some to believe that the entire passage refers to a defensive war in which Muslims are defending their homes and families. The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, however, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did). Verse 190 thus means to fight those who offer resistance to Allah’s rule (ie. Muslim conquest). The use of the word “persecution” by some Muslim translators is disingenuous (the actual Arabic words for persecution – “idtihad” – and oppression – a variation of “z-l-m” – do not appear in the verse). The word used instead, “fitna”, can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation. This is certainly what is meant in this context since the violence is explicitly commissioned “until religion is for Allah” – ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.Quran (2:244) – “Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.”

Quran (2:216) – Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.” Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding merchant caravans for loot.

Many more quotes from the Koran once again disproving the false “Islam means peace” meme at the links above.

Also recall that After The Boston Marathon Bombing by Muslims, Boston Police Promotes First Muslim Police Captain.

  1. Boston Police Commissioner Evans has completely
lost his morals along with his mind. What non-muslim
citizen or Policeman can trust this wannabe Muslim
Police commissioner. Appearing with anti-war Military
Veterans at a mosque March for Terrorists is bad enough, but stating that “Deep Down We’re all Musims”, should be grounds for his resignation. No
wonder the “Tsarenev” Bros. were able to get away
with a previous murder without consequences.

    • didnt you know boston is the welcoming center on the east coast for these muslime pig terrorists
i suppose the next time his terrorist friends attack boston he will have a banquet for them the night before

  2. How did this clueless Clown even become police commissioner? A more suitable job for him would be as a night watchman somewhere. What an freaking joke this Loser is!

  3. Yesterday a Muslim nanny in Moscow beheaded a 3 year old girl that she was babysitting, then carried the child’s head with blood dripping everywhere to the local metro station screaming, “Allahu akbar!”

So, Commissioner, deep down I want to be a CHRISTIAN, not a murdering Muslim.

    • #Jàmes Rogers. Trust me, James, this alleged Police Commissioner needs to be hung out to dry! He’s the poorest excuse that ever came down the pike to call himself a Police Officer. To me, he’s mentally unbalanced and extremely DANGEROUS as an officer of the law. I seriously think he has emotional and mental issues that prevent him from acting in the best interest of the people. I don’t trust him any farther than I would trust a rattle snake. He’s a traitor and a first class IDIOT!!!!! It really is a blotch upon the citizens of Boston to have given this kind of an Office to such an IDIOT!!!!!

  4. I am a Christain, in my beliefs.I will never trust any one that professes to teach that MUSLIMS should run the entire world. People like this guy will be executed, like any infidel. I’ll be laughing all the way to my guns and ammo. I may die, but there will be a lot of dead MUSLIMS before I go down. A kill ratio of 100 to 1 is not acceptable to them.

If sharia law continues spreading, you'll have less and less freedom of speech - so speak while you can!
