Muslims more outraged over Fireman Sam cartoon than daily Islamic terror attacks

No Muslim outrage over 84 dead and 200 wounded in Nice, a pregnant woman hacked to death in Germany or a priest beheaded in Normandy – to name just a few recent deadly events by Muslims. But an old cartoon – that’s outrageous.

Muslims think the blank piece of paper in a cartoon is a page from the deadly Koran

The makers of Fireman Sam have ‘apologised unreservedly’ after an episode showed a character standing on a page of the Koran.

Eagled-eyed viewers claim the episode ‘Troubled Waters’ of the children’s television classic is Islamophobic because it showed bumbling character ‘Elvis’ disrespecting the Muslim holy book.

Channel 5, which aired the episode last month, has removed it from its online catch-up service.

The scene begins when Elvis takes a tumble holding a tray of tea when he slides on a piece of paper on the floor.

Pages of scripture then fly up into the air as they, and the character, come crashing to the floor.

Twitter users identified the pages as from the Muslim holy book, the Koran.

According to social media users one page shows verses 13-26 of chapter 67 of the ancient work.

A spokeswoman for the multinational firm Mattel, which owns the show’s makers Hit Entertainment, said ‘It has been bought to our attention that in an episode of Fireman Sam (Series 9, Episode 7), an image of the Quran is briefly depicted.

‘The page was intended to show illegible text and we deeply regret this error. We sincerely apologise for any distress or offense it may have caused.

‘We will no longer be working with the animation studio responsible for this mistake.

‘In addition, we are taking immediate action to remove this episode from circulation and we are reviewing our content production procedures to ensure this never happens again.

‘Again, we apologise unreservedly to our viewers.’

Mattel also owns the popular brands Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob the Builder.

Channel 5 removed the episode, which they broadcast on June 28, because of the allegations.

The episode has only just come under the spotlight after it was first broadcast in 2014.

A spokesman for Channel 5 told the news website Middle East Eye there were no plans to air the episode again.

MailOnline did contact Channel 5 for further comment but a spokeswoman declined.

The original show started on the BBC in 1987 and finished in the mid-1990s. Channel 5 then bought the rights to broadcast a new version from 2008.

Most viewers could care less.

Channel 5 and Mattel are the real Islamophobes if there is such a thing. They are bending over backwards in fear of Muslims who will wage jihad and kill innocent people over a children’s cartoon that they suspect has an image of the Koran – a book full of hate. They yanked the episode, fired the firm that made it and reviewing content production to ensure it never happens again. WTF?

Pro-jihad Youtube seems to have wiped that episode off of playlists too.

  1. oh no better call the whhhaaaammmbbbbuuuullllaaannncccceee

  2. There’s no amount of placating and apologizing that will help! MUZZLUMZ are never satisfied! They’re out to get BLOOD! Just because we suddenly give them a documented “reason” to hate us doesn’t change the fact that they HATE US!!! Our actions have little or nothing to do with it! It’s too f…ing bad the ‘blank’ paper with the koran scribbled on it wasn’t lying next to a toilet–with some BROWN SPOTS on it!!!!!

  3. muslims are soooooooooo brainwashed it is pathetic; common sense is not in muslim anywhere, nor is love and compassion; only vagina mutilation and murdering gays and murdering each other and honor killings. can you name ONE thing good about islam??? never

  4. shared to my public FB with my added comment:

PROPER RESPONSE WOULD HAVE BEEN TO TELL THE COMPLAINERS TO TAKE A HIKE AND GET OUT OF COUNTRY!

  5. I just watched a bit of Fireman Sam. The cartoon has no legible writing or even numbers, only very basic symbols. This show is for 2 to 5 year olds. I’m sure the storyboard writers and graphic artists managed to squeeze in lines 13-26 – at least 13 lines of chapter 67 of the coran on a piece of paper, likely on screen for 2 or 3 seconds. Did somebody see the lines in English or Arabic? More Islamic BS and the producers apologize?? An islamist’s “short and curlys” up close look like Arabic writing and could be words from the coran. They should be removed along with the surrounding soft tissue.

    • My mistake, there is “writing” on the paper. It is not clear graphics on the still – course some jughead had to show the real writing compared to the image in question. I still stand by my “short and curlys”

    • Did you find it online or have all traces been flushed down the sharia memory hole?

  6. This is the inspiration for an idea. Let’s order Koran’s, tear out pages, fold them in excrement and mail them to people in the phone book with Islamic surnames.

  7. Of course the first impulse is to reply with a huge “Fμck you”, but muzzie cowards will vent on helpless bystanders. I think everyone here knows what the real solution is.

  8. awww.. poor little terrorists got their feelings hurt

If sharia law continues spreading, you'll have less and less freedom of speech - so speak while you can!
