No pun intended we’re sure. But seriously a threat to the long-term survival of the U.S. Source: No denying U.S. Muslim population explosion
A recent study reveals that migration and high birthrates are increasing America’s Muslim population by 100,000 annually, with nearly 3.5 million Islamic adherents currently residing in the United States.
Even though some figures show that only 1.1 percent of the total U.S. population is currently Muslim, Pew Research Center notes that the 3.45 million Muslims in the U.S. – up from 3.31 million in 2016 – is quickly surpassing and catching up to other religious groups.
“[O]ur projections suggest that the U.S. Muslim population will grow much faster than the country’s Jewish population,” Pew Research Center reported. “By 2040, Muslims will replace Jews as the nation’s second-largest religious group after Christians, [a]nd by 2050, the U.S. Muslim population is projected to reach 8.1 million, or 2.1 percent of the nation’s total population – nearly twice the share of today.”
Continued Obama effect?
Since around the time pro-Muslim/pro-immigration former President Barack Obama took office a decade ago, the Muslim population in the U.S. has grown by leaps and bounds.
“When we first conducted a study of Muslim Americans in 2007, we estimated that there were 2.35 million Muslims of all ages (including 1.5 million adults) in the U.S,” Pew’s Besheer Mohamed recounted. “By 2011, the number of Muslims had grown to 2.75 million (including 1.8 million adults). Since then, the Muslim population has continued to grow at a rate of roughly 100,000 per year – driven both by higher fertility rates among Muslim Americans as well as the continued migration of Muslims to the U.S.”
More than we think?
One American Muslim organization that has been reported to have deep ties to Islamic terrorism, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) argues that the numbers provided by Pew greatly underrepresent America’s actual Muslim population, which it claimed – nearly three years ago – was twice (6–8 million) Pew’s current estimate.
“Muslim advocacy groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations routinely cite a span of 6 million to 8 million people in describing the size of Islam in America,” CAIR announced in March 2015 on its website. “That would be between 2 percent and 3 percent of the U.S. population and make Muslims greater in number than Mormons or Jews.”
Even with CAIR’s lower-end estimate, Muslim Americans would already outnumber Jewish Americans.
“If CAIR – an offshoot of the extremist Muslim Brotherhood – is correct and there are at least 6 million Muslims living in the U.S., that would represent 2.4 percent of the total population and exceed the number of Jewish Americans by about a million,” WND pointed out.
It is also reported that as the Muslim population increases in any nation, so does anti-Semitism.
“France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the U.K. have all seen increasing numbers of hate crimes against Jews and Jewish properties since they began importing mass numbers of Muslim migrants,” WND’s Leo Hohmann reported. “It has gotten so bad in France and Germany that many Jews have been quietly migrating out of those countries in recent years.”
CAIR argues that Islam has already passed Judaism’s 5.3 million adherents as the runner-up behind Christianity, which is America’s most populous religious group.
“[U]nlike the Muslim population, Judaism is not growing in America, due largely to low birthrates,” Hohmann explained. “The main drivers of Muslim population are high fertility rates of Muslim women – compared to Christian and Jewish women – along with continued migration of Muslims into the U.S. from abroad.”
It is likely that CAIR is accurate when it asserts that the number of Muslims is America is discounted, which is probably due to politically correct protocol adopted by the U.S. Census Bureau.
“Pew itself admits that that estimated Muslim population growth is difficult because there is no official count – the U.S. Census does not ask Americans their religious affiliation, so Pew is offering what amounts to its best guess based on its own surveys, outside sources and previous research,” Hohmann noted. “The true size of the U.S. Muslim population is likely somewhere in the middle of the Pew estimate and the CAIR estimate, probably around 5 million.”
And what languages are many of the invaders speaking? Arabic and Somali.
